Patient Testimonials
Dr. Cho is very attentive and detailed. She wants to make sure everything is good!!!
I found it to be a very good place to get the care I need.
I remember on one prep visit, I said I did not bring my medical device and she exclaimed, “No worries, you going to be throwing it away any way . Fast forward to today, six weeks post-surgery, I woke with no pain and very little discomfort, minimum bleeding and all is well. And yes, I have thrown the pessary away!
Thank you so much Dr. Del A Cruz you are a special addition to the practice.
My lab appointment was for 9:15am and I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early. I checked in at the lab reception at 8:55 and went to sit and wait. Before I could turn around, my name was called. As a nervous needle guy, I alerted the lab tech and she was super understanding and quite calming. Before I knew it and without any fanfare, she was done. I was back in my Jeep and headed to the office before 9:15.
For my doctor visit, I was asked to arrive at 8:45am for my 9am appointment. Reception was busy, so I was not able to check in until just after 8:45. The receptionist had everything she needed so I just needed to sit and wait. I check my emails and popped open Facebook when my name was called. The nurse checked my weight and height before ushering me into Dr. Rico's exam room. The nurse asked a few questions, checked my blood pressure and pulse, and said Dr. Rico would be in soon. There was a quick knock on the door and Dr. Rico entered. I glanced at the clock by the door and the time was 8:59. Not only were they prompt, but early.
This was my first visit with Dr. Rico as my physician of 30 years had just retired. I found Dr. Rico to be quite personable, efficient, direct, and he even laughed a few of my bad jokes. Nice bedside manner, knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone (my sons will be seeing him from now on as well).
I've been with WIMC for a very long time. As with most medical practices, there can be ups and downs, but since they have moved into their new office space, in the handful of visits I have had since, I have only experienced nothing but "ups."
