Women's Internal Medicine
We provide a variety of services for your routine care as well as the treatment and prevention of illnesses. Our goal is to better serve our patients in a timely and convenient fashion. As an internal medicine service provider, our clinic contains an extensive number of on-site services that would not be available at a typical provider.
Gynecology
Gynecologists are physicians specializing in the treatment of the female reproductive system. Along with well-woman exams, our gynecologists provide guidance for pregnancy planning, contraception, infertility, irregular periods, menopause, and incontinence.
Women’s Gastroenterology
Dr. Angela Hira and Dr. Julia Hughes are here for women who feel more comfortable discussing their GI conditions with a woman. Dr. Hira and Dr. Hughes can connect with the unique physical and emotional stressors women face while balancing their busy schedule and multiple roles.
On Site Testing
Our practice as a whole provides laboratory services that are located in-house and offer a multitude of services on-site.
Women’s Imaging Services
WIMC has a comprehensive in-house radiology department. We are focused on providing up to date radiology services to patients, with the goal of finding problems and the best solutions as soon as possible.
Weight Management & Nutrition
Nutrition is all about the food and nutrition that you intake. However, this is heavily linked to weight and fitness, but with the guidance of our Registered Dietitian and our Board Certified physician, we can educate you and help guide you to better choices.

Wake Internal Medicine’s gynecologists are all Board Certified in Gynecology. Our gynecologists provide routine and complex health services for women. Whether it be general wellness visits, minor condition treatment or complicated surgery, our gynecologists are prepared to provide any service required.
Wake Women’s Health provides pro-active healthcare through preventative wellness visits. Our doctors provide experience and expertise when dealing with the health of the reproductive system and the urinary system of our patients.
