WIMC Hosts Community Donation Drive

Wake Internal Medicine is kicking off Public Health Awareness today, April 1st, for our health focus of the month. Public health awareness works to promote and encourage the wellness of people; everything from educating people about healthy lifestyles (such as the risks of tobacco and the benefits of exercise), the importance of seat belt and helmet use, to making sure families are receiving recommended vaccines to prevent disease. We will be reaching out to the community by hosting a donation drive, accepting health and hygiene items for the Raleigh Rescue Mission. The Raleigh Rescue Mission is a non-profit agency dedicated to provide homeless men, women, and children with food, shelter, and safety. Please see the flyer below for a list of accepted items. Wake Internal Medicine appreciates your efforts to help us give back to the community for those who are in need. Donations will be accepted April 1st – 30th.
