What to Expect: Face Masks, Visitors, & Cleaning.

Wake Internal Medicine is committed to providing the safest environment possible for you and your loved ones during your visit to our Practice.

Providers will be donning more personal protective equipment to keep you and themselves safe, such as, face masks, face shields or eyewear, gloves that are changed after every interaction, and/or isolation gowns.

At Wake Internal Medicine, we are asking all of our patients to wear a mask over their mouth and nose when coming to the practice. Also, our preference is that you do not have anyone come into the office with you, but if you must have someone accompany you, please have them wear a mask as well. These measures will help reduce the chances of any cross-contamination among patients and staff.

Patients have the option to wait in their vehicle after checking in with the front desk staff. Be sure to leave them your best mobile number as you will be contacted when the medical staff is ready to bring you back to the exam room for your appointment.

Patients are asked screening questions upon scheduling over the phone and again upon checking in.

All COVID testing that is necessary is conducted outside our practice in a designated area by appointment.

We remain vigilant with our cleanliness measures throughout the building so that you can feel safe when seeing your provider.
