Dr. Adam completed his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in chemistry at St. John’s University and continued to pursue a graduate education at the same institution, earning a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry in 2000.  To that end, he completed a thesis, which involved synthesizing two new organic compounds, leading to publications.  Dr. Adam went on to pursue a medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and he has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine since graduating residency in 2008.  Dr. Adam is a member of the American College of Physicians since 2006 and was elected a fellow in 2012.
