Erin Hughes, FNP

Erin began her schooling at Russel Sage College where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. From there, she continued to Sage Graduate School and earned her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner. She is part of the American Nurses Association.

Erin’s practice style is patient centered, focusing on the whole person and providing education on preventative care, acute treatment, and chronic care. This ideology allows her to establish the most appropriate healthcare plan with her patients. Erin partners with the patients and family members to understand their needs, culture, and values to improve their overall standard of care. Erin has over twenty years of experience in orthopedics and is excited to join Dr Chmelewski in expanding musculoskeletal and immunologic services to the Triangle area.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys reading, gardening, walks with her dog, and spending time with her family.
