He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Barish also founded Wake Research Associates in 1985, and has become a respected thought leader in both the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry. He has authored and co-authored articles regarding gastrointestinal disorders in numerous medical journals and books. Currently, he is a physician volunteer with the Project Access program of Wake County. Dr. Ender is also a member of the Triangle Community Foundation and a board member of several local charities. His academic interests include gastrointestinal clinical research, bioinformatics and medical education. He is currently a member of the endoscopy committee at Rex Hospital. |
