He has authored and co-authored articles regarding gastrointestinal disorders in numerous medical journals and books. Dr. Ender joined Wake Internal Medicine in 1993. He has previously served as an instructor to medical students and residents at the University of North Carolina program at WakeMed Hospital. Currently, he is a physician volunteer with the Project Access program of Wake County. Dr. Ender is also a member of the Triangle Community Foundation and a board member of several local charities. His academic interests include gastrointestinal clinical research, bioinformatics and medical education. He is currently a member of the endoscopy committee at Rex Hospital.
