Matt has been with Wake Internal Medicine Consultants since 2012. He initially signed on as a provider in our Rx Urgent Care, but he is excited to transition to internal medicine. Prior to joining us, he worked at Ball Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology, Orthopedic Specialists of North Carolina, Reyes Medical Management, Universal Family Medicine, Edgewater Medical Center, and earned his ASCP certification. In 2013, he received the Wake County Lifesaver Award.

While he enjoys all aspects of primary care; Matt has special interests in preventive care- healthy lifestyle, managing chronic illness such as hypertension and diabetes, and men’s health.
He believes that empowering his patients with knowledge regarding their conditions will lead to a healthier lifestyle and improved quality of life. He also has additional training and experience in orthopedics and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in internal medicine and preventative care.
